Dele Akinfenwa
I’m Dele Akinfenwa, a fitness entrepreneur, mentor, and co-founder of Beast Mode On, a movement and brand dedicated to helping people unlock their inner strength, both physically and mentally. Over the past decade, I’ve combined my passion for fitness with my purpose: to inspire, educate, and empower individuals to take control of their health and mindset. From humble beginnings training in local gyms to building a nationally recognized fitness brand alongside my brother, Adebayo Akinfenwa, I’ve always believed that fitness is more than a physical journey, it’s a mindset. Through Beast Mode On, we’ve created a platform that champions resilience, community, and transformation, especially within underrepresented groups.
Beyond the gym, my work extends into schools, where I mentor young people providing guidance, real talk, and tools for navigating life with confidence and purpose. I’ve led workshops, hosted talks, and offered coaching that not only focuses on body strength but also emotional and mental resilience. One of my proudest achievements is seeing these young men shift their narratives and realize the power they hold within.
Whether through training programs, clothing that speaks identity, or workshops that uplift the next generation, my mission remains consistent which is to show that you can be strong, kind, vulnerable, and powerful all at once. Being recognised for this work means a lot, because it represents the impact I’ve been striving for all along to uplift, to represent, and to lead from the front.
…
This nomination means a lot because it shows that fitness can have a deep and positive impact far beyond physical appearance. It’s about showing up, making a difference, and helping others become the best version of themselves. I’m proud to be part of something bigger and to help lead the way for others coming up behind me.

Daniel Pierre
Daniel Pierre (also known as Batman Dan)
My name is Daniel Pierre, but most people in the fitness community know me as Batman Dan. I am a fitness influencer, personal trainer, and motivator based in London. My work goes beyond helping people in the gym. I use fitness as a tool to help transform lives by building confidence, discipline and mental strength. I am proudly affiliated with King’s Gym, where I’ve built a strong presence both in person and online. My platform reaches thousands of people every day, and I use it to inspire, educate and support individuals at all stages of their fitness journey. I focus especially on helping people who feel overlooked or stuck, giving them the push and belief they need to move forward.
Being a Black man in the UK, I understand how important representation is. I know what it means to grow up without many role models who look like you or understand your experience. That’s why I use my voice and my platform to uplift others, especially young men, and show them what’s possible with consistency, focus and self-respect.
